• CV content — all text and data you enter into the CV editor (work experience, education, skills, etc.).
• Uploaded files — CV/résumé documents you upload for import, and profile photos you attach.
• Usage activity — actions such as creating or deleting a CV, downloading a PDF, and uploading a file, logged with a timestamp.
• Technical data — IP address and browser user-agent, stored alongside feedback submissions and activity logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the CV builder service.
• To associate your CVs with your account so you can access them across sessions.
• To process CV uploads and extract structured data using the Gemini AI API (Google).
• To improve the service based on aggregated usage patterns.
• To respond to feedback you submit voluntarily.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third parties:

• Google OAuth — for sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• LinkedIn OAuth — for sign-in. Subject to LinkedIn's Privacy Policy.
• Google Gemini AI — used only to extract structured data from CV files you upload. Uploaded documents are sent to Google's API and are subject to Google AI Terms.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third party.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on the server hosting CV Resumey. CV content, profile photos, and activity logs are stored on disk. No data is stored in an external database unless explicitly configured by the site administrator.

5. Data Retention

Your account and CV data are retained for as long as your account exists. If you delete a CV, it is permanently removed from our servers. To request full account deletion, contact us at the email below.

6. Cookies & Sessions

We use a single server-side session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

CV Resumey is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Withdraw consent at any time by signing out and ceasing to use the service.
